Together with teammate Giannichedda, Fiore moved to Lazio in 2001 from Udinese. At that point he had already officially belonged to Lazio for a year, after a buzz of success and bidding for the then bright new hope of Serie A.
Fiore is a gifted and hard-working playmaker with a knack for creating chances. He has been in and out of the national side; unfortunately few managers would consider fitting Fiore and Francesco Totti in the same side, which limits Fiore's chances.
