Probably the nearest Lazio have to a pin-up this season, Bernardo Corradi is a late-flowering striker whose commitment has earned him a place in the hearts of Lazio fans (although not endearing him to referees). After a slow start at the club, Corradi began to show an appetite for
goal that has recently won him a place in Trapattoni's Italian national side. Corradi hails from the Contrada del Bruco, one of Siena's historic districts which takes part in the Palio every year (apparently Corradi joins in the celebrations wearing period costume).
